Human Cloning Is Right Around The Corner

April 22, 2009

cloned humansWhile a handful of countries have been successful so far in prohibiting efforts to clone human embryos, fertility specialist Panayiotis Zavos says he has cloned 14 embryos and has implanted 11 of them into the wombs of 4 different women……..having no success yet in producing a cloned human being.

It is certainly a sign of our times and some say a definite red flag that we are living in “the last days”. Whether you choose to think we are in the End Times is your decision but it is difficult to argue that we might just be messing with things God never intended. I’m not going to pretend that I know the mind of God and his detailed plans for all of us but the idea of cloning humans certainly raises a lot of questions far beyond simple moralistic values. Random Thoughts And Comments

Tired!!

Ah, yes! It’s that time again. So many thoughts pummeling this tired brain! Tired, yes, I’m tired. I’ve never been tired like this ever in my life. I’ve been tired from cross country skiing 30 kilometers but the recovery was sweet. No, this is a different tired. Some may say it’s because I’m pushing 57 but I don’t think so. 57 is young! I’m mentally tired. The brain is receptive to a constant bombardment of information but processing it into usable material is daunting. How do the masters do it? I’m anal, organized. For God’s sake I contemplate in what order I’ll dress myself in the mornings and trying to sort a steady diet of free flowing information is tiring. I’m learning. Read more

Doug Giles: God Loves Hunting And Hunters

Up to his usual, Doug Giles, TownHall.com, blasts away at the PETA anti-hunting crowd with passages from the Holy Scriptures that show Jesus approved of hunting and fishing.

Black Churches to Participate in Day of Prayer for Jailed Border Patrol Agents

May 9, 2008

Washington, D.C. – Project 21, the black leadership network, has recruited the support of black churches across the United States to participate in a special day of prayer declared by a member of Congress to call attention to the plight of incarcerated U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean.

“To many Americans, the radical beliefs and comments of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright have come to falsely personify the Christian church – and particularly those with black congregations. We hope this show of support for the law and good government will help undo the damage he has wrought,” said Project 21 Chairman Mychal Massie. “This is a call upon our God to do what only He can in the absence of any action by President Bush. Christians have long bridged the divide between God and the absence of responsible leadership, and it is only fitting that once again the Church is undertaking to do that which officials will not.” Read more

In Search Of America’s Bitter People

April 28, 2008

“And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.” Those were the words spoken by democratic presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama just prior to the Pennsylvania primary.

These words bothered me quite a bit, at least enough that I responded to Mr. Obama’s comments and so I went out in search of some of America’s so-called “bitter” people – those clinging to their guns and religion. Over the weekend, I was fortunate enough to locate an all-American family reunion, a family that probably Obama was envisioning when he made his elitist remarks. Read more

Local Television Station Scared to Death to Report the News

February 24, 2006

Last night as I watched the 10:00 p.m. news on the local Fox affiliate in Tampa, Florida, WTVT, I was appalled. A story has surfaced in St. Petersburg about a local lawyer named Thomas Wadley, who happens to be a firm believer in free speech.

In protest as to how the American media has chosen to suppress the news and self- censor what can be allowed to be printed, Wadley hung banners across the front of his home. The banners were a Danish flag along with enlargements of some of the cartoons that have cause death and destruction across the globe by intolerant murderers in the name of their Islamic religion.

Surprisingly, in the online version of the St. Petersburg Times, there is a photo of Tom Wadley standing in front of his house. Behind him is the Danish flag. I am surprised because I would almost assume that the association would raise fears in the paper’s editors of Islamic reprisals. This is what it has come to. These same intolerant morons are burning, pillaging and murdering anyone or anything that even makes reference to the cartoons.

Their terrorism is working because as we cower in the corners and remain hypocritical in our beliefs of free speech, these terrorists are exploiting the situation. Once they realize they have the upper hand, it soon gets out of control.

On the news broadcast last night, the reporter went to the Wadley house to do the story. First off, the video that was shot was a joke. Any time there was any part of Wadley’s banners or pictures visible in the video, they were covered over in censorship. Secondly, you could tell the reporter was petrified to speak out of fear she might say something offensive.

Wadley says it is time to stand up for what this country stands for and that is freedom. To hide behind respect for another’s religion is crap. It’s simply an excuse for the terror that has come over our media. I for one am shocked that it has come to this. The terrorists have to be dancing in the streets and much of the increases in uprisings are a result of the scare tactics working.

I take my hat off to people like Tom Watley. It is obvious he has no disrespect outwardly toward the religion of Islam but he does value his free speech.

Of course the television station had to run to the local chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. A spokesperson there just kept repeating the same old mantra – “This is inciteful and disrespectful of our religion. He is only doing this to incite anger in the local Islamic community.”

Talk about intolerance! Where do these people get off. As Wadley said last night, when people disrespectfully portray Jesus or any other Christian icon, Christians don’t rise up and go burn down houses and murder people.

The terrorists have found a foothold. They now know our media are cowards and are that because they have instilled fear in them by threatening and showing they will kill for no real reason at all.
