Are Some On The Right Guilty Of The Same President Bashing That Occurred From The Left With Bush?
December 4, 2009
It was not that long ago that we all had to sit and listen to Bush bashing from the left and make no mistake about it, it is still going on today. There was nothing that President Bush could do or say but what the left whined, bitched, moaned, complained and just plain bashed. So blatant this was that much of what was being said were lies and yes, things said taken out of context.
Those on the right have engaged in their own levels of attacks on President Obama, myself included. However, I have never had and will never have a problem with anyone attacking issues. But we all know that it goes beyond just issues and can get very nasty.
The other night I watched President Obama’s speech from West Point about his intentions for our military in Afghanistan. I have to confess that this is the first speech I have listened to of Obama and I’ll tell you why. I believe that when it comes to military operations and decisions such as those we as a nation face, politics should not play a role. Read more

Our State-Run Media
September 14, 2009
I always used to snicker a bit when I heard Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck refer to our mainstream media as being our state-run media. No more snickering. It’s true, at least in the sense of how it is being run. In communist countries the government always ran the media outlets and only provided information to the people that government wanted them to know.
In this country we refer to such blatant biased media as being “in the tank” or “kool-aid drinkers”, etc. We can’t say that our media is directly owned and operated by the government, yet, but the effect is the same. Right now we still have talk radio and the Internet where people who want to know the truth can go and get the truth. But it requires work. Read more

What Really Went On When Obama Went To Bozeman?
August 21, 2009
Below is a letter sent out to friends by people who actually attended the Obama town hall meeting at the Belgrade Airport in a remote area outside the city of Bozeman, Montana. This information never made it to the press, partly because the press was shielded from even being able to see the thuggery and intimidation.
~~~~~~~
Hello All,
By now you have probably heard that President Obama came to Montana last Friday. However, there are many things that the major news has not covered. I feel that since Bill and I live here and we were at the airport on Friday I should share some facts with you. Whatever you decide to do with the information is up to you. If you chose to share this email with others I do ask that you DELETE my email address before you forward this on.
On Wednesday, August 5th it was announced locally that the President would be coming here. There are many groups here that are against his healthcare and huge spending so those groups began talking and deciding on what they were going to do. The White House would not release ANY details other than the date. Read more
Call to Action Against General Electric
April 27, 2009
The Free Enterprise Project today is announcing a call to action against General Electric CEO Jeff Immelt for engaging in business activities that threaten liberty. In the spirit of the Tea Party rallies, we are urging liberty-minded individuals to join us by signing our petition to Immelt.
Corruption, corporatism, lobbying and media bias are issues that came to light from an audio recording of GE’s annual shareholder meeting by Tom Borelli, Ph.D, shareholder activist and director of The Free Enterprise Project. The recording generated nationwide headlines by exposing shareholder outrage.
Press Reports Pittsburgh Cop Killer Feared Obama Gun Grab
April 5, 2009
You know it bugs the heck out of me why the press insists on reporting the case of Richard Poplawski, who killed three Pittsburgh police officers, as fearing that Obama was going to ban guns. Poplawski may have feared Obama was going to do that and some, if not all, of his fear may be justified. But that’s not why Poplawski killed three cops. He killed them because he’s sick in the head.
Oklahoma’s Proposed Bear Hunt Brings Out The Best In Outrageous Rhetoric
April 2, 2009
While I’m still attempting to get definitive answers from someone at the Oklahoma Division of Wildlife Conservation as to the thought process in deciding to allow for the hunting harvest of 20 black bears by archery hunting first, followed by muzzle loader hunting after that, if the 20-bear quota hasn’t been reached. All I’m trying to do is find out why preferred treatment is being given to archery hunters. In their thinking, there maybe a good explanation but inquisitive minds can’t help but ask why.
In the meantime, the press, specifically the Associated Press, prints for it’s readers utter nonsense concerning bears and bear hunting. In an article link sent to me by a reader, we find the AP traveled from Oklahoma all the way to Oregon to find an anti-bear hunting organization willing to speak out against the proposal. Read more
The Battle To Correct Media Bias And Bad Information
March 13, 2009
An editorial should contain opinion. Is that so shocking? I editorialize everyday. I also present facts and document the source from which it comes. When a piece in a prominent newspaper is published as an editorial but is full of statements presented as facts with no source for them, it can’t be taken seriously.
The Salt Lake Tribune published what they labeled an editorial condemning Interior Secretary Ken Salazar’s and Barack Obama’s decision to go ahead with the delisting of the gray wolf in Idaho and Montana. I don’t much care one way or the other about the opinions of the editorial staff of the Tribune. They can have all the wolves in their back yard that they wish. I’m sure many in Idaho and Montana would be happy to send them along. The problem is they have made statements that are false and offer no proof to support them. It is not presented as opinion.
