Anti-Free Enterprise Businesses SHOULD Fear Tea Party
October 20, 2010
Liberal CEOs are the Next Target for Tea Party Activists, says National Center for Public Policy Research
Washington, D.C. – Experts at the National Center for Public Policy Research‘s Free Enterprise Project and Project 21 say the cover story of Bloomberg Businessweek magazine, “Why Business Doesn’t Trust the Tea Party,” explains why big business should be wary of the Tea Party movement.
“Progressive CEOs who embrace inherently anti-capitalist policies are making an enemy of grassroots conservatives and anyone who opposes higher taxes. Businesses should be wary of the Tea Parties, but they brought it on themselves,” said Tom Borelli Ph.D., Director of the Free Enterprise Project. “When CEOs seek short-term profits and political perks by embracing anti-free market policies such as cap-and-trade and ObamaCare, they must realize that they are going to anger proponents of smaller government.” Read more

Knee-Jerk Criticism From Civil Rights Lobby Hurts Race Relations
Washington, D.C. – Members of the Project 21 black leadership network question the sincerity of establishment civil rights leaders opposing talk show host Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally at the Lincoln Memorial August 28.
That date is the 47th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech at the Lincoln Memorial. Read more
Left Admits: Racism Charges Against Tea Parties a Tactic, Not a Truth
July 29, 2010
Washington, D.C. – Members of the Project 21 black leadership group are condemning the left’s false use of the accusation “racist” as a political tactic, saying they recognize the strategy from the teaching of left-wing organizer Saul Alinsky.
Former U.S. Commission on Civil Rights Chairman Mary Frances Berry, a long-time prominent liberal activist, has admitted in an interview with Politico that the left is trying to smear the tea party movement as “racist” for strategic reasons, not out of genuine concern that the movement is itself racist.
Berry called the tactic an “effective strategy” and chose not to denounce it. Read more
True Agenda Of Environmentalism
June 2, 2010
We all have our thoughts about the real agenda behind the sickness of environmentalism and when a hole is opened that offers us the opportunity to expose the real agenda, it is prudent that we do our part to advertise the insanity of it all.
Much debate has transpired for many years over illegal immigration and much more attention has been given Arizona with the state’s recent passage of illegal immigration laws that mirror our federal laws that are not being enforced. This debate has sharply divided political ideals, where on the one side the progressive liberals believe in open borders and a destruction of our sovereignty as a nation, an abolition of a distinct identity. On the other side, Americans want law and order, a means where immigrants seeking to share in the American Dream can legally come to this country and assimilate, as our present laws provide. Truly we find the polar opposites of idealism at work and as such we are witness to forces behind the propagation of political agendas. Read more
Do We Fear Exceptionalism?
May 21, 2010
Where it began, I don’t know. Perhaps we can’t even put a finger on it. Somewhere between here and there America has lost her exceptionalism. Being exceptional sets something or someone apart from all others. Dare we utter the fact that were it not for exceptional people America would not exist today? Why have we grown to fear being exceptional? Why do we now see such blessings from God as amiss?
I’m sure it began long before our obsession with self-esteem. So consumed we became with making sure our kids’ feelings were never hurt, we lost all reason and understanding and began teaching that exceptionalism wasn’t “fair”. (Oh, there’s the four-letter word that should be banned.) Read more
My Science Is Best Because I’m Better Than You Are
March 9, 2010
One of the problems we face today is the vast separation between the elitist intellectuals and the rest of the normal world. Science is a fascinating field and part of what makes it work is the open discussion of facts and theories. What happens when the “common man” decides to get involved in the debate?
I received an email this morning from someone on the “left” attempting to support his ideas of predator/prey relationships with his science. All was going well until the “left” in him just couldn’t resist adding that last paragraph showing his true colors. It’s quite funny and I share that with you here.
“You Lie!” Heard Across The Land
September 11, 2009
Did anyone listen to Mark Levin yesterday? Wow! There is no way I can do his opening monologue any justice. What he did say is that the left is going to make every attempt to use the two words uttered by South Carolina Congressman, Joe Wilson – “you lie” – to demonize the right and put up a smoke screen to obstruct the truth. Levin then goes on to tell listeners that our country is being dismantled by Obama and the last thing anyone should be concerned about is what Joe Wilson said.
Levin also reminded listeners all of the name calling and “vitriol”, as the Liar-in-Chief called it, we on the right have been called since the beginning of the campaign. Here’s a partial list: bitter, angry, white American, gun clinger, Nazi, racist, terrorist, un-American, etc. Read more
Enviro-Statism
August 27, 2009
If you’ve not read Mark Levin’s new book, “Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto” you really must.
Page 114 begins a chapter called, “On Enviro-Statism”. This is how it begins:
“Science, broadly defined, is a door to knowledge. Although the Statist is found of accusing the Conservative of slamming the door shut, it is actually the Statist who abandons science – just as he abandons the laws of nature, reason, experience, economics, and modernity – when he promotes what can best be characterized as enviro-statism. His pursuit, after all, is power, not truth. With the assistance of a pliant or sympathetic media, the Statist uses junk science, misrepresentations, and fearmongoring to promote public health and environmental scares, because he realizes that in a true, widespread health emergency, the public expects the government to act aggressively to address the crisis, despite traditional limitations on governmental authority. The Results Of “Restoring The Scientific Process To Its Rightful Place”
July 17, 2009
Remember when President Obama announced that now he was going to restore science to its rightful place? That was one of those comments that nobody has any idea exactly what it meant but by golly it sure sounded good. Granted, in this particular reference, he was referring to action being taken on the Endangered Species Act, but most feel it was also a message to Americans that it also implied all scientific aspects of his administration.
Evidently we are getting a taste of what Obama meant. Back when he made the statement, I asked whose science was he planning to restore? Maybe he is planning to restore the science, if that’s what you want to call it, of his newly appointed “Science Czar”, John Holdren. Read more
U.S. Citizens Moving Toward Conservatism?
July 7, 2009
I’m not buying it! According to Gallop, a new poll shows that more Americans say they are becoming more conservative in their political views than liberal.
That might be what the poll says and that might be what those polled actually said but I’m not buying that it is true. I think those polled have the perception they are conservative (and I honestly don’t think they know what that means) and/or they don’t want to be directly associated with some of the real whacked out leaders on the left – and I certainly can’t blame them for that.
