Obama Pushes BP’s Inspired Cap-and-Trade “BP Bill” in Speech to Nation

June 17, 2010

Both BP CEO Hayward and Obama Support Big Government Efforts to Discourage Fossil Fuels

Washington, D.C. – Responding to President Obama’s speech on the oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, The National Center for Public Policy Research is calling attention to BP’s role in pushing Obama’s cap-and-trade energy policy.

BP was a founding member of the United States Climate Action Partnership – a lobbying coalition that played a key role in passing the Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade bill that passed the House of Representatives last year and the company also played a role in negotiating the terms of the Kerry-Lieberman bill recently introduced in the Senate. Are Our Courtrooms Deciding How We Will Manage Our Wildlife?

May 27, 2010

Yesterday I received an email that originated with David Allen, President and CEO of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. In that email was a memo from the law firm of Budd-Falen Law Offices, LLC, more specifically attorney Karen Budd Falen. Mr. Allen explained that Ms. Falen, whose offices is in Wyoming, is “well versed in issues relevant to significant landowners and sportsmen, primarily in the West.”

The memorandum, which can be downloaded in its entirety with this link, shares data that readily explains how the Endangered Species Act isn’t about saving species. Instead it has been manipulated, which most honest people have come to realize, in order to use taxpayer money to make some environmental groups and individuals quite wealthy. Read more

Joey “The Snake” Buttafucco On Iran And Women’s Rights

April 30, 2010

Our boy Joey tells us about how excited his wife, Carla, was this morning at 6 a.m. when she heard Iran got selected to sit on some commission within the United Nations on women’s rights. That sounds about appropriate and especially that the United States didn’t block the selection. Hmmmmmmm. Go get ‘em Joey!

You Can Cough Up Another $150-$250 A Month For Obama Can’t You?

April 16, 2010

Ok! So, you know the drill. Everyday you sit down to your computer and check your email. Most everything in it isn’t anything you want. Mixed in with all the other stuff are also many emails that make us angry and that we find outrageous. This is, of course, the intent of those emails. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on one’s perspective, the majority of those emails are bogus. Most believe what they read and don’t bother to do any checking to see if it is the truth. Rep. Phil Hare Doesn’t Much Care About The Constitution

April 3, 2010

There’s one thing you can say about Rep. Phil Hare aside from his arrogance and ignorance, at least he honestly said he doesn’t care what the Constitution says, even though he didn’t know the difference between the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Most in government state and “swear” to uphold the U.S. Constitution and then completely ignore it when it comes to their jobs and life.

People complain about the “new media” and how it can intrude into people’s lives but when used to force politicians in Washington to be accountable, you got to love it.

Update:

Then he wows us with his profound knowledge and arrogance once again by explaining why his comments in the above video were……………ready?????…………….that old liberal/socialist/communist standby????…….? “TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT”

Who Do We Blame For Our New Socialized Health Care?

March 22, 2010

Liberals in general blame George W. Bush for everything in their lives they dislike or consider a failure. I nearly succumbed to such trivial and meaningless thinking, half with an upturned corner of my mouth and half out of anger and frustration.

Let’s face it. We now have Obamacare because we voted for him to be president out of hatred toward George W. Bush. However, electing Barack Hussein Obama only expedited the inevitable. You and I have sat on our hands for so long now, allowing laws to be passed in this land that are contrary to the U.S. Constitution. I know of nobody in Washington that evens considers the Constitution a worthy document.

This may be our last chance to reverse the tide. If we continue to elect representatives who view our Constitution as nothing but old, worthless history, our future is doomed and will be short lived. We can turn this around but it can’t happen on its own.

Phil Jones: Not “Pervert[ing] The Peer Review Process”

March 2, 2010

With the release of information contained in allegedly hacked emails from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia last November, the main question still unanswered by most is whether any of the information formulated in years of study on the climate is valid. Emails seem to clearly indicate there was a conspiracy to withhold data that had been requested through the Freedom of Information Act. Evidence weighs heavy that data was left out, hidden, and/or manipulated to achieve desired results, along with other damning evidence that should make any reasonable thinking person question the results. Black Leader Critical of NAACP Image Award for Van Jones

February 26, 2010

Washington, DC: The NAACP’s decision to bestow an Image Award on radical activist and former Obama Administration official Van Jones is drawing a stern rebuke from Mychal Massie, chairman of the Project 21 black leadership network.

“I understand that it’s their award and the NAACP can give it to whomever they want,” said Project 21′s Massie. “But an Image Award is supposed to be reserved for ‘outstanding achievement.’ Can they really justify Jones’ failed tenure in government and his continued wrong-headed views for such an honor? At this rate, I expect next year’s ceremony will honor Lil’ Wayne.” Read more

Racketeering Lawsuit Filed Against Humane Society Of The United States

February 23, 2010

This tip was sent to me by a reader. Thank you!

Feld Entertainment and the Ringling Brothers circus are suing the Humane Society of the United States, its lawyers and other animal rights groups. Bribery, fraud, obstruction of justice, and money laundering are some of the charges being leveled against HSUS, its attorneys and other animal rights groups.

“America’s farmers, ranchers, hunters, fishermen, research scientists, fashion designers, and restaurateurs have seen for decades how the animal rights movement can behave like a mobbed-up racket,” said CCF Director of Research David Martosko. “But it’s still shocking to see the evidence laid out on paper. In a treble-damage lawsuit like this, a jury could actually do the humane thing and finally put HSUS out of business completely.”

Could it be HSUS will get some of what it deserves?

Three Steps the IPCC Must Take

January 25, 2010

Photo from fOTOGLIF

Washington, D.C.: Statement of National Center for Public Policy Research president Amy Ridenour on what the IPCC must do in wake of unfolding scandals:

In the wake of admissions the IPCC knew all along it was putting bogus science in its 2007 Assessment Report, that the false prediction was included specifically for its “impact on policymakers and politicians,” and that this allegedly was covered up as long as it was because the IPCC chairman was raising money for his personal pursuits based on the prediction, the IPCC must immediately take three steps to restore its credibility. If it does not, the Obama Administration should use its influence to have it shut down. Read more
