Beer Summit Second Only To Oral Sex In White House
July 31, 2009
I remember after 8 years of the Clinton administration, Americans were clamoring to “bring back some dignity” to the Oval Office. This of course after scores of classless acts by Clinton and his children running his offices and topping that off with a rendezvous in the Oval Office with Monica Lewinsky, complete with cigars and oral sex while chatting it up with foreign dignitaries on the Oval Office phone.
How soon I guess we have forgotten about the importance of class and dignity in the White House. Among all the other things President Obama has done, and I, for one, am sick and tired of hearing time and again about them all, we now have the “Beer Summit”. Read more
Jefferson And Madison Battle It Out Over U.S. Constitution And Bill Of Rights
July 31, 2009
At the end of Thomas Jefferson’s five years he spent in Paris, France working for the United States to open treaties and agreements of commerce and trade, back in the States work was being done in drafting the Constitution.
Jefferson was always adamant that the Constitution should contain a guarantee of rights to the citizens of America, that it should be spelled out clearly the freedoms guaranteed to each person. The debate on such ranged from it not being at all necessary and whether or not any “guaranteed” rights be done as amendments to the ratified Constitution or a stand alone document.
If Jefferson were alive today, he could make a fortune in consulting fees. He was the go-to guy for many when seeking advice on an array of topics. It seemed that while he was in the middle of receiving mailings from across the ocean about the drafting of a constitution, he was also consulting with many concerning the French Revolution and helping the French people to regain some of their lost freedoms. Move To Washington, D.C. – Money Grows On Trees And Other Stuff
July 31, 2009
Have you heard? The great “Cash for Clunkers” program was such a success, the House voted to put another $2 billion of your tax money into the coffers to give rebates back to anyone interested in buying a different car.
I am considering a move to Washington, D.C. because evidently money grows on trees down there. My biggest fear though is that there is something in the water that makes you incredibly stupid.
Call it a scam, call it a shell game, call it what you wish. Some would even say it is unconstitutional, at least that’s what the courts said when FDR tried slaughtering pigs and burning cotton. Read more

Dems Block GOPs Email About “Inaccurate” Health Plan Flow Chart
July 29, 2009
This is way too funny. I guess it would be even funnier if it wasn’t so true, depicting the moronic behavior and the idiots, all of them, we have elected to represent us in Washington.
Below is a chart created by Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas) and Republican staff of the Joint Economic Committee. Brady wants to send this chart to fellow republicans to help show how ridiculous, complicated, bureaucratic, expensive and unmanageable Obama’s and the democrats’ health plan is. The democrats in the House are blocking this from being sent out claiming it is inaccurate.
Obviously, we no longer live in a free society, one where a constitution spelling out our rights to speech, etc. exist or is looked upon as having any meaning. We are being overrun with a bunch of the most corrupt and ignorant group of politicians ever assembled on planet earth. The people are ready to revolt……..I hope. Read more
American capitalism gone with a whimper
July 29, 2009
Note: In case you missed this when it first came out.
It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.
True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists. Read more
What Thomas Jefferson Thought Of People Who Put Animals At Par With Man
July 27, 2009
Thomas Jefferson spent several years in France traveling about much of Europe seeking trade treaties for the United States. This occurred in the latter part of the 1700s and before becoming president. In his travels he developed methods he used when visiting other countries to determine if life in those countries, which included all aspects such as work habits, ambitions of the people, politics, the court systems, etc., was a good match in what he considered a worthy trade partner with the United States.
In Jefferson’s writings he spells out exactly the things he would look for while visiting a country. One of the first things he would do would be to climb into the steeple of a town church and look over the town from that perspective. He often would forgo an immediate visit with state dignitaries in order that he call upon the common folks, the workers, if you will, to find out how they were treated by their employers and whether or not they were taxed too much or paid too much for their rent. “….and Nothing But An American”
July 26, 2009

“In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American…There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag… We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”
Sarah Palin’s Last Day As Governor Of Alaska
July 26, 2009
Story and photos by Al Remington
She served food all day to anxious crowds waiting to see her up close and say hi. Thousands waited patiently and in good humor. Everywhere you looked someone was looking at you with a nod and a grin. No words were needed.
Her farewell was held in the upper section of Anchorage, now called
The Square – which used to serve as a runway. A great place for parades.
Two hours into the three hour event, the grounds were spotless. I got the feeling of being home at the family reunion – and why not. Folks were spread throughout the grounds picnicking their time away for a
glimpse and few words from the soon to be ex-governor. Read more
Outdoor Talk Network Radio Interview
July 25, 2009
Back in early June, I was interviewed by Jim Slinsky for a radio show on the Outdoor Talk Network. We spent the good part of the one hour talking about President Barack Obama’s selection of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to fill a soon to be vacated U.S. Supreme Court Justice seat of Justice David Souter.

Help Block Animal Rightist Regulatory Czar
July 24, 2009
Senator John Cornyn (R- TX) has blocked President Obama’s choice for a powerful regulatory position in the White House because of the nominee’s support for animal rights. He’s done his part, now sportsmen need to do theirs. Your support is needed to make sure the block, known technically as a “hold,” stays in place.
Cass Sunstein, the president’s pick to head the powerful Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA), has been an advocate for the animal rights movement and is an anti-hunter. As a part of the federal budget office, OIRA has extensive authority to block rules, including those that protect hunting and conservation.
Sunstein claims that, “we might ban hunting altogether, at least if it’s sole purpose is human recreation.” He also supports allowing lawsuits on behalf of animals, a right currently only extended to human beings. Read more
Obama Health Care Bill Contains Race Preferences

Black Activist Speaks Out Against Proposed Unequal Allocation of Health Resources
Washington D.C.: An examination of the 1018-page “America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009″ (H.R. 3200) – the official Obama health care bill – finds several cases in which grant money for medical training can be awarded solely on factors of race and class.
Project 21 member Bishop Council Nedd II, an Anglican bishop and director of the Ecumenical Institute for Health Policy Research based at Valley Forge Christian College, is condemning the addition of racial preferences to the President’s legislation. Read more
