Maine Friends Of Animals “Ethics Nazis”, Purveyors Of Bad Information
February 28, 2009
Jayne Winters, a board member of Maine Friends of Animals, was allowed to write a column that appeared in today’s Kennebec Journal. Her piece is in support of the Maine Legislature’s LD 560, a bill that would ban shooting animals on private land. In her piece she quotes only part of what I said in an article I wrote about the nonsense of trying to legislate one’s ethical ideals.
Here is how Winters quoted me. Read more
Montanans Object to Tactics Used to Suppress HJ 26
February 27, 2009
MISSOULA – Citizens across Montana are placing 30-second radio spots today in protest over handling of House Joint Resolution 26 by the Montana House of Representatives. Prepared ads criticize Democrat leadership in the House for attempting to violate House rules by denying a public hearing on HJ 26. Ads also criticize House Democrats for voting against HJ 26 on a party-line vote.
HJ 26 reasserts Montana sovereignty reserved to the state in Article II, Section 2 of the Montana Constitution, and in the Ninth and Tenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution. In that regard, HJ 26 is similar to measures that are currently working in the legislators of nearly 30 states across the U.S. Perhaps the first of these to be introduced was in New Hampshire, although the Oklahoma House of Representatives just passed a similar measure by a substantial vote margin. Banking Bailout Money in Lobbyists’ Pockets: TARP Money Used to Push for a New “Green Bubble”
February 27, 2009
Washington, D.C. – Wall Street firms bailed out by the American taxpayer are now financing an extensive lobbying campaign to promote the costly federal regulation of greenhouse gases and putting the American public at risk of facing yet another costly economic “bubble,” charges the National Center for Public Policy Research.
“Using TARP money to inflate another bubble is beyond outrageous,” said Tom Borelli, Ph.D, director of the Free Enterprise Project of the National Center. “Not only are taxpayers being looted to subsidize Wall Street’s latest risky scheme, but taxpayers will also bear the brunt of cap-and-trade through higher energy prices. Only in today’s upside-down political world do two wrongs make a right.” Read more

AG Holder: “A Few Gun Related Changes We’d Like To Make”
February 26, 2009
What took the Obama administration so long to begin announcing their plans, one gun at a time if necessary, to steal our Second Amendment rights? As this administration works to strip away more rights than any other president in history, it comes as no surprise that Attorney General Eric Holder announced that President Obama plans to reinstate an assault weapons ban.
Here’s the second grade, asinine, lame excuse Holder gave for wanting to assault our Second Amendment rights. Read more
Chimp Cartoon Protest Aimed at Murdoch

Protest of New York Post’s Chimp Cartoon is an Attack on Rupert Murdoch, Black Activist Says
Washington, D.C. – Three apologies were offered by New York Post editors and its owner, Rupert Murdoch, for an editorial cartoon said to compare President Barack Obama to a chimpanzee. None of these apologies were accepted. Project 21 Chairman Mychal Massie says it is time to recognize the protests for what they are: revenge and an attempt to silence conservatives.
“When Al Shaprton was investigated for tax evasion, it was the New York Post that broke the story. Now Sharpton seems to be blowing this cartoon out of proportion to get even. Read more
Socialism Will NEVER Happen In America
February 23, 2009
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened.”

It’s Not “Racist” to Refuse Stimulus Money, Black Activists Say
February 21, 2009
Congressman’s Race-Baiting on Stimulus Attacked
Washington, D.C. – Congressman James Clyburn (D-SC), the third-ranking member of the congressional leadership, has engaged in unnecessary and harmful race-baiting in his criticism of governors wary of accepting money from the so-called “stimulus” package, say members of the African-American leadership group Project 21.
“Trepidation about accepting a federal handout is rational, not racist,” said Project 21 Chairman Mychal Massie. “For Congressman Clyburn to claim that refusing stimulus money would hurt blacks is the last gasp of a desperate politician revealed to have been making a career out of the loathsome practice of pushing set-asides, pork projects and increased government intrusion.” Read more

The U.S. Is Downside Up!
February 18, 2009
It’s insanity I tell you! It’s insanity!
The other night, I’m driving down the road listening to my radio and for the umpteenth time I hear the talk show host define insanity; Doing the same act over and over again the same way hoping for a different outcome.
This is what we are doing…….isn’t it?
Being in debt used to be a bad thing. Then it became a good thing. We began basing our entire economy on how much credit card debt and lending we could create, caring very little as to whether or not anyone could pay it back. This was proven time and time again as people who defaulted on loans or credit cards and in some cases declared bankruptcy and within days credit care deals were sent them in the mail. Read more
Maine Lawmakers Seek To Trample On Rights Ban High-Fence Hunting
February 17, 2009
Americans are guaranteed under the United States Constitution to be able to work hard and make a living. As this country spirals deeper and deeper into a form of European-style socialism, individual rights, including the right to prosper, are being yanked out from under American citizens for no good reason.
The state of Maine has become the target of animal rights groups for years. Maine, once a staunchly independent state, continues to morph into a land very attractive to secular progressives bent on the destruction of the liberties fought and died for in this country. Read more
Is a Constitutional Crisis Pending?

Politicization of Census Hints Obama Scandal is in the Making
Washington, D.C. – Commerce Secretary-designate Judd Gregg’s abrupt withdrawal implies a constitutional crisis involving the 2010 Census my be pending, says Mychal Massie, chairman of the Project 21 black leadership network.
“One of the principal jobs of the Commerce Secretary is to conduct a census every 10 years that will decide voting districts and in part creates a new political playing field. Senator Gregg seems to have recognized that the White House wants to usurp this power and rightly wanted nothing to do with it,” said Massie. “Senator Gregg’s act should be seen as a wake-up call to America that strong oversight is needed over the census process lest it be abused for partisan gain.” Read more
