Obama On Second Amendment. Let The Communities Decide

Obama continues his effort to convince voters that he believes that the Second Amendment gives an individual the right to keep and bear arms but when he further explains in detail what that means, it becomes clear he doesn’t believe an individual or anyone for that matter, has a right to arm themselves.

In Search Of America’s Bitter People

“And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.” Those were the words spoken by democratic presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama just prior to the Pennsylvania primary.
These words bothered me quite a bit, at least enough that I responded to Mr. Obama’s comments and so I went out in search of some of America’s so-called “bitter” people – those clinging to their guns and religion. Over the weekend, I was fortunate enough to locate an all-American family reunion, a family that probably Obama was envisioning when he made his elitist remarks. Read more

UN warns of halting food distribution

An interesting turn of events has been going on in the Middle East. The head of the United Nations relief operation in Gaza says Israel must supply gasoline immediately to the Gaza strip or the U.N. won’t be able to distribute aid to the residents living there. Apparently 860,000 of the 1.4 million folks living in Gaza receive aid from UNWRA, and another 270,000 are serviced by the U.N.’s World Food Program. Read more
