Your Wish Is My Command
March 14, 2006
I apologize for being away so long. My real work has left me with little time as is the case right now. But I wanted to stop over and share a couple of things with you.
The first is a question that, if nothing else, I hope will make you do some serious thinking. I’m not trying to start a new rumor nor am I attempting to slander the name and reputation of anyone. I am simply trying to incite thinking toward what we may be facing in the not-too-distant future.
Most of you have probably heard about the debacle involving the Moussaoui case, where a lawyer or lawyers for the prosecution were caught sending notices to future witnesses during the sentencing portion of the hearing. This of course is a no-no.
My question to you is this. Is the hatred toward President Bush running so deeply that a person in a position like these lawyers, would deliberately sabotage a court case in order to make him look bad?
I know what I think. What do you think? How deep can this go? How far will this nut cases take this?
The second part of my post deals with Iraq and the war on terrorism. According to our media, civil war is being waged already in Iraq. Whose tail is wagging which dog? Our President says that this is the last attempt by a defeated enemy. That they can’t beat the military forces in Iraq so they are doing all that they can to start a civil war.
The media is panting like dogs, drueling puddles of sweat from their tongues hopiing against all hope that civil war breaks out – only for real. Already, they are crying for the U.S. to cut and run.
A new report shows that since the media declared that civil war was being waged, violence has eased. So who tells the truth? It is no wonder we ran like chickens out of Vietnam. This was the beginning of a press turned traitor. They learned from that war and brought it with them all these years.
The media may just get there way. Reports are that all the old school Republicans surrounding our President, are tired out and have lost their fight – the President included. After nearly six years in office and the administration still doesn’t get it that they need to do more to show the American people they have moxie. As an example they did virtually nothing to convince the American people that the ports deal would work and that it would be safe – nothing. I would have thought that if the President of somebody with authority had merely explained how the ports were run, it would have helped.
The Democrats are so bad they can’t even muster up an idea or a plan of their own. Here we have a people starving for answers, looking for stronger leadership, someone to step up with the right answers and the democrats can only rehash wire tapping.
The media will continue to berate the President and his policies. They will ridicule him for anything and change their positions if it means disagreeing with him.
Russ Feingold of Wisconsin is calling for censure on President Bush and when Bill Frist called for a vote on that, he and his colleagues cried fowl. How quickly idiots like Harry Reid forget their own tactics of politicking. I never wanted to resort to name calling but in all fairness, this isn’t name calling. It is truth. The majority of these guys are idiots. Educated in the schools they are credited with creating. That explains it doesn’t it?
This morning on the Today Show, Sen. Joe Biden interviewed with the queen of whine about Iraq. He was one who lead the charge that we needed to bring the troops home now. Bush put into place plans and began bringing some of the troops home and Biden is critizing Bush for bringing the troops home, saying he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
I just don’t get it. Have our politicians morphed into a bunch of ignorant fools who can only be driven by hatred and anger? If so, I don’t even want to think about the direction this country is headed.
2008 will be another Presidential election year and this coming November we will be facing mid-term elections. Think real hard before you cast your ballot. This may be the last Congress and the last President this country will have. Who do you want leading us against a world bent on our distruction.
Tom Remington
