Drone Target in Northern Pakistan

I get so infuriated listening to people, reading editorial comment, etc. spouting their ideologue, second guessing our military/intelligence and most of all still refusing to grasp who and what our enemy is.

Over the weekend one of our military drones sought out and destroyed a building believed to be housing Al Qaeda’s number two bozo, Zawahiri in northern Pakistan near the Afghan border. Already, newspapers across America are presenting the event as a big mistake for the U.S. – killing innocent people.

If the information we are being given is accurate, Zawahiri was to attend a dinner at this location that night and never showed. Of course we didn’t know he never showed until after the attack.

Now that the smoke has cleared, the left dominated media are already attacking the Bush Administration and our military intelligence. The ignorance that eminates from their camps signifies a continued hatred for Bush. (More newspaper stories here, here,.)

The first bunch of garbage spewed by the media is about the innocent people killed. My heart bleeds for the actual children who may or may not have been killed in this attack – they are too young to be able to decide for themselves where to be and when. As for the rest, there is no such thing as innocent people. We have heard this garbage for months now all through the Iraqi war about the death of innocent people.

Anyone who was planning to attend the diner engagement in northern Pakistan that night with Zawahiri, is no innocent. In Iraq, those who harbored the insurgent murderers and Al Qaeda terrorists are not innocent.

One editorial today in the USA Today paper rants on about how this attack is now fueling the enemy and inspiring them to rise up and kill Americans. We all know about who lives in northern Parkistan. They are so ruthless that even the majority of Pakistanis won’t tread in those lands.

The newspapers glorify the protests all over Pakistan about the U.S. attack. So what else is new? Large numbers of pro Osama idiots in Pakistan have been protesting against the U.S. for a long time. These same thugs have tried to assassinate Musharaf many times. It’s not like millions of new Pakistanis are now marching in the streets protesting against the U.S.

The attack in northern Pakistan was good and more should continue. People harboring any of these terrorists are not innocent and need to be taken out. Of course the left-wingers in this country still think that we are the terrorists and that we should put down our weapons and reason with our enemies.

Our intelligence is not perfect but I can assure you that the only way Musharaf (and I do not doubt for one second that he didn’t know about the attack before it happened) would have approved that attack is with some very reliable intelligence. Because of that, I can only assume that Zawahiri was tipped off – but by whom?

We have clearly sent a message or messages, if you will. We are not “cutting and running”, we are actively seeking all terrorist murderers, anyone who sleeps with the enemy will be killed too, we do have allies in this war, and “you can run but you cannot hide”.
