Leftists Debase Themselves after the Inauguration

Every four years in America we have a competition of ideas to decide who will hold the office of the President. It is an often heated debate over the qualifications and promises of two or more candidates. Often these elections are fraught with deception, cheating, and undue influence by vested interests. Nevertheless, we carry it out with the hope that our new leader will help our nation prosper.

This year, Donald J. Trump has come out the victor. His taking the office of the President has many people feeling exalted with renewed hope for the working class and for the security of our nation- and for well-placed hopes for new and positive relations with Russia.

Arguably, we have avoided a hot war with Russia, the further selling out of the middle class, the further demoralization of families, the expansion of the welfare state, and the continued dominance of the system of thought control known as Political Correctness. It was, in the eyes of many, a victory for free speech, for business, for families, and for hopes of peace in our time.

But, not everyone is happy with the outcome. In the hours and days following the inauguration of our 45th president, riots were organized, and people marched on the Capitol. Celebrities spoke of dreaming about bombing the White House, they screamed about tampon taxes, they burned cars and businesses, smashed shop windows, and assaulted people.

Tens of thousands of rioters- who CNN calls protesters- descended on our nation’s capital to wreak mayhem and to completely debase themselves. They gathered to shout, to smash and to burn- apparently, oblivious to the fact that we have spent every single day of the last eight years at war, oblivious to the fact that Obama’s drone war rated a 90% civilian kill rate, and oblivious to the fact that he never lifted a finger to end nuclear proliferation- a promise for which he was awarded the now empty Nobel Peace Prize.

The Antifa group, whose name means “Anti-Fascist,” raided downtown Washington in black masks. They assaulted reporters and people seeking to attend the inauguration. They fire-bombed cars, burned trash cans, and smashed windows.

As reported by Project Veritas, ranking members of similar groups planned terrorist attacks on the inauguration itself and the Ball to follow. Men, surrounded by purportedly feminist protesters punched female reporters in the face on camera only to be swallowed and protected by the supposed women’s rights defenders they came with.

They attacked prominent members of the Alt-Right such as Gavin McInnes, Mike Cernovitch, and Lauren Southern. They charged police lines, terrorized Trump supporters, and made the most hideous spectacle of themselves imaginable. A man was shot outside of an event featuring Milo Yiannopoulos, a gay British reporter for Breitbart and Trump supporter who famously refers to Donald Trump as, ‘Daddy.’

And that was only day one- immediately following the inauguration.

On the second day, a huge- albeit less violent- group of women’s rights demonstrators moved on the nation’s capital. Though interviewed by many independent reporters, none of them could cite any meaningful objections to our new president.

When they answered, invariably, that Trump had rape charges leveled against him, that he was repealing abortion rights, or that he hated gays- they were confronted with statements from Trump that indicated the exact opposite of their claims. Yet, when confronted with evidence to refute their objections, these demonstrators hurled insults- and occasionally became threatening.

If the riots, fires, fights, and attempted murders were not the low-water mark of the protestations, the two major celebrity speakers would deliver the gathering’s lowest moments. Ashley Judd, a B-list actress, shouted to the crowd about her menstruation and tampon taxes to a crowd filled with children. Madonna, who months ago had openly offered sexual favors in exchange for votes favoring Hillary Clinton, spoke of how she has thought and dreamed of “blowing up the White House.”

Thankfully, reports have it that Madonna has come under some heat from federal law enforcement agencies. But the long-term repercussions of her statements will most likely flow from her poor rhetorical style. As for Judd, she is likely to be soon forgotten.

While the rioting, violence, and unbecoming rhetoric from the protests have been given the most attention, the image that sticks out in the minds of many of us is children, aged ten to fifteen, wearing huge vagina costumes.

While these displays were disgusting and ill-informed, it’s safe to say that the greatest damage done was to the reputation of Democrats as a legitimate and serious political party.
